We were invited to a limited competition to consider the major refurbishment of Sceptre Court, adjacent to Tower Bridge for Global University Systems.
The building was in need of alteration and major refurbishment, is it did not function well as an education facility.
Our proposal addresses the lack of natural light, poor spaces and difficult way finding. We proposed an atrium down to the ground floor, hosting a new stair whilst introducing natural light to the new communal area of the building and creating a new focus. An outdated material palette of the building is replaced by a modern and durable range of materials.
