This Edwardian terrace family home in Muswell Hill required renovation and remodelling on the ground floor. The original layout presented challenges due to the inconvenient size and position of the kitchen in relation to the dining room and the rest of the house. Additionally, the house boasted a spacious garden, which unfortunately remained obscured from the main residence. Our design solution was to introduce a contemporary rear garden-level extension featuring an internal courtyard. This not only facilitated a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience but also allowed natural light to flood both the existing structure and the new extension.
