Our client's family moved more centrally from their generous Hertfordshire house into the suburb. The objective was to recreate the same sense of openness and space, within a significantly smaller property. In order to deliver this brief, we needed to remove all of the ground floor walls and stairs and re-think the plan entirely. For us to maximise the available space and to create regular proportioned rooms, the client also wanted to fill the house with bespoke joinery. The result is a house full of warmth and a feeling of opulence. The client's very clear brief from the onset and clarity of thought was the key to success.
